Toliary formerly Tulear among the most beautiful sites in Madagascar. 
The rich and colorful coral reefs contrast with the diverse and abundant fauna, making it an ideal diving destination. The long white sandy beaches and turquoise sea on which dangle elegantly canoes Vezo, sails taut in the wind. Fishing is a highly developed craft and fishing villages with houses made of branches and leaves, are found along the coast dunes.
Between July to September, it is possible to encounter humpback whales that roam the shore.
